The system primarily utilizes FMCW millimeter-wave radar detection technology and high-resolution optical image processing technology, with dual-sensor hybrid synchronous detection. Adopting an edge-light (or in-pavement) installation method, it enables all-weather, full-coverage continuous monitoring of the runway without blind spots, allowing rapid detection and assisted removal of FOD, thereby ensuring flight safety and improving airport operational efficiency. The system mainly consists of intelligent detection units distributed along both sides of the runway, data transmission, a control center, and a power supply subsystem.
