The SU17 Research Drone is an integrated quadrotor development platform meticulously developed by AMOV Lab over four years. It highly integrates AMOV Lab’s self-developed flight controller, onboard computer, quad-camera visual SLAM system, and image transmission module. Powered by the Prometheus autonomous drone software, it supports multiple flight control modes, target recognition and tracking, as well as 3D path planning. It also supports the MID360 3D LiDAR as an optional configuration, enabling Fast-LIO-based 3D LiDAR SLAM. Combined with the EGO-Swarm path planning algorithm, it can accomplish 3D spatial mapping and dynamic obstacle avoidance in a wide range of complex application scenarios. With the accompanying Prometheus professional ground station, the SU17 empowers research teams to rapidly carry out intelligent algorithm validation and iterative secondary development in complex environments.
