The spraying system is an important component of agricultural drones. Its performance directly determines the effectiveness of pesticide spraying and fertilizer application during flight. Among them, the spray nozzles are particularly crucial. Centrifugal nozzles have better atomization effect due to their larger flow rate and uniform atomization. They have a wide spray range and self-cleaning function, which has become the mainstream nozzle solution in the market. The centrifugal nozzles currently available on the market generally have insufficient flow rate, inaccurate and smooth control of the square wave motor, and insufficient waterproof and heat dissipation performance, which makes them prone to burning out. They lack motor speed and temperature feedback, etc., resulting in a significant performance gap compared to the self-developed centrifugal nozzles of DJI and Eufly. TRCN-1 is a new-generation centrifugal nozzle specially developed by TopRadar, aiming to compete with the latest centrifugal nozzle of DJI. Its advantages include: 1. At 13000 rpm (with a median atomization particle diameter of 50 um), it can support a maximum flow rate of 8L/min at 11000 rpm; 2. It has a maximum internal rotor brushless motor of 800W, surrounded by water cooling for heat dissipation, operating at 40CFOC with a stepless and precise speed control by the ESC, and responding quickly; 3. The ESC and motor are designed with a nested sealed integrated structure, using 2-level oil seals to improve the waterproof level and protect the nozzle from pesticide corrosion; 4. It has a temperature sensor to monitor the temperature of the motor and ESC in a timely manner, automatically stopping when the motor is overloaded, idling, or stuck, to prevent the motor or ESC from burning out; 5. PWM and CAN, or only PWM control; 6. The bracket uses flexible shock-absorbing materials for connection and can be bent and folded, suitable for common power kit structures such as Gooding X6X9, X11, etc.; 7. The self-developed one-way valve and solenoid valve compatibility design can be adapted to TRCN-1. The default free one-way valve is simpler but will cause some flow loss to the impeller pump; optional solenoid valves have almost no flow loss to the impeller pump; 8. It supports forward or reverse rotation of the motor and impeller, respectively, in line with the rotation direction of the corresponding drone propeller, providing better control of the field and spray range.
