During the operation of unmanned aircraft, AGVs, and low-speed vehicles, sometimes it is necessary to detect the position, distance, width, and height of obstacles such as guy wires, trees, utility poles, road barriers, guardrails, people, or animals to achieve obstacle avoidance or detour. TR360-1/2-24 is a 24GHz ISM band 360-degree rotating MIMO radar that can timely and accurately detect the movement and static obstacles in the 360-degree direction around the radar, as well as their distance, position, height, and speed. They have high sensitivity and can detect 1cm wires, 10cm tree trunks, 1.6m people, and 1.5m utility poles at a distance of 20 meters or more. TR360-1-24 is a vertical-mounted obstacle avoidance radar with a detection range of up to 40 meters. It can output the points of the nearest obstacle in each 6*N (N=1, 2, 3...) zones to achieve 360-degree obstacle avoidance or detour. TR360-2-24 is a horizontally-mounted terrain radar with a detection range of up to 40 meters. It can output the nearest points in front and behind the terrain in each 6 zones to achieve climbing or crossing of wires. They all come with an IMU and can also be externally connected with IMU data to timely monitor the attitude information of the radar. This can solve the false alarm problem caused by inconsistent installation of the radar's attitude of workers and also overcome the interference of ground clutter caused by changes in the radar's attitude angle. Only the distance information of the target in the specified direction is output. The wireless charging, wireless transmission, and brushless motor modules they use are all exquisite customized modules, thus achieving high performance while maintaining a small size, and making the rotating radar stronger, more resistant to drops, and longer in lifespan. Compared with single-point obstacle avoidance radars or multi-point obstacle avoidance radars, they have the following advantages: 1. Output target position and distance information in 1360 degrees; 2. More timely and accurate obstacle avoidance or climbing; 3. Filter ground clutter through height detection and IMU calculation, and only output the distance of obstacles in the required direction.
